Ever wondered what artists do all day (and night)? Here’s your chance to find out: now in its 7th year, ArtWest is a collective of artists and makers in London, NW10, who jointly open their studio buildings once a year so you can have a peek in a friendly, relaxed environment. Many are well-established, award-winning practitioners while some are at the very beginning of their professions. This year, 6 studio buildings are taking part with over 40 studios. Practices include painting, sculpture, print-making, carpentry, textiles, ceramics, installation, photography and multi-media.
See and meet artists at work, visitors can buy works or snap up a mini-masterpiece from ‘Postcards From ArtWest’; anonymous postcard-size gems for £25 each.
Artists include: Annika Strom (Sweden): film, performance, painting. Renata Fernandez (Venezuela): painting. Peter Blegvad (USA): singer-songwriter, writer, cartoonist. Stephen Williams (UK), painter, mixed-media. Chloe Fremantle (UK): painter, illustrator. Afsoon (Iran): collage, painting. Vanessa Cohen (UK), ceramics. William Warbrick (UK): woodwork, furniture.
