On the ocassion of the UNITY Arts Festival, please join us for CLAY, CERAMIC AND CASTING workshop.

Within this drop in session, you will be introduced to ceramics; experimenting with surface decoration, texture & colour, by making tiles. No prior knowledge of ceramics is required.

About our teachers:

British artist Amanda Cotton lives and creates contemporary sculpture in London. This Masters of Art & Design graduate is a specialist in 3D materials practice via mold-making, ceramics and composites. Amanda learnt how to manipulate materials during her time at The University of Brighton and picked up skills during her time in France.

Elena Gileva is a Russian born , London based artist fixating on the decorative, historical and ornamental through the medium of ceramics and sculpture. Elena has training both in ceramics, having graduated from MA Ceramics & Glass Royal College and fine arts (BFA Fine Arts Parsons Paris School of Art & Design.) She combines various references and processes, with hand-built ceramic objects taking centre stage in her practice.
