Artist, writer and curator Deborah Joyce Holman leads a tour of (15,952km) via Trans-Sahara Hwy N1 discussing online visual culture, the global circulation of identities and the digital layers behind Kudzanai-Violet Hwami’s paintings.

Biography
Deborah Joyce Holman is an artist, writer and curator based in Lausanne and Basel, where she co-founded the 1.1 artist-run platform. Fluidity being a central element of her practice, her work explores uses of language through a variety of media. Other recurring themes in her work are the constant negotiation with notions of authorship, subjectivity and representation in online and offline spheres, as well as the interweaving of fiction, truths and facts.
