Event Details

Slip, is a mixture of clay and water with addition of stains. It can be used in many ways to make attractive decorative patterns. During this hands on session we will be experimenting with techniques of spotting, scratching, and sgraffito. Create your own object and decorate it accordingly. We will have tiles available to use if you wish to concentrate on decorating only. All work will be fired and will need to be collected from Turf.

Groundwerk is a monthly series of free practical workshops for artists and creatives wishing to gain the skills to support their practice.

This workshop is free to attend and open to all but booking is recommended, as spaces are limited. Children of attendees are very welcome to join!
