Event Details

Join us for a tasty Easter time talk and tour with Hotel Chocolat. Chocolate has an interesting history in Britain; find out why Samuel Pepys needed it, Quaker industrialists wanted us to use it, and how - over 300 years later - Hotel Chocolat is taking chocolate back to its noble origins. As it is Easter, there may be a few eggs and bunnies about!

After the talk you will be able to explore the collection at your own pace. You’ll see decorative chocolate boxes from the Victorian times, 1930s favourites such as Kit Kat, Rolo and Mars Bar, ration bars from the wartime and 12,000 other items that illustrate the way everyday life has changed over the years. If you are visiting with children, follow our Easter Bunny Hop and Seek Trail, and look out for our favourite famous bunnies, including Peter Rabbit, Bugs Bunny, Thumper and more.

The Museum is located in Notting Hill, just a five minute walk from the world famous Portobello Road. Although surrounded by the hustle and bustle of London, the Museum also offers a beautiful cafe and award-winning garden for visitors to relax in. Tickets £9/£7/£5
