2pm – Dance and Indigenous Cultures Avatâra Ayuso, Ana Zavala and Oscar Naters discuss the relationship between Indigenous peoples and dance.
3pm – Visual Arts in Indigenous Cultures Nadia Myre and Maree Clarke discuss their work with ORIGINS Indigenous Associate and Arts Historian Stephanie Pratt.
4pm – Living in the Arctic Inuit Naulaq LeDrew and Amy Hull discuss life in today’s Arctic with Samí Torgeir Vassvik and Jerker Bexelius.
5pm – Indigenous Activism The big issues facing Indigenous cultures (and the world) today – discussed by LeAndra Nephin from the Omaha Nation, Jo Woodman from Survival, and Hugh Brody, who will be showing a new film confronting ongoing cultural oppression.
