Event Details

Writer, sound artist and educator Belinda Zhawi leads a creative writing workshop for people interested in mining memories and family histories to make sense of the present, excavating the past to imagine possible futures. Inspired by Kudzanai-Violet Hwami’s exhibition at Gasworks, (15,952km) via Trans-Sahara Hwy N1, workshop participants will be encouraged to respond to personal photographs and sound in order to explore those intangible parts of our lives that live on through us.

This event is free to attend, no booking required. Seats will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
