In the first exhibition of its kind, 30 international women and non-binary artists have come together to explore the patriarchy's ongoing role in accelerating the global climate crisis.
In climate terms, toxic masculinity is, frankly, toxic. Research has found that women waste less than men, recycle more than men and outperform men in nearly every environmental behaviour. But while men disproportionately contribute to climate change, women and girls are disproportionately affected by its negative impacts.
In this one-day exhibition, curated by environmental non-profit Do the Green Thing, an international group of women and non-binary artists respond to the research, and raise awareness of the damage that the patriarchy does to us and to our planet.
