Open Call - Artists Digital Residency

Guest Projects Digital is offering a number of digital project residences to support collaboration, the testing of ideas and the creation of new work prior to opening the physical artist residency space in Lagos and London. This first call is for collaborations between artists and curators, in particular those of African descent living and working in London, UK and Lagos, Nigeria. Proposals that include communal and co-operative opportunities to connect with people and communities across these cities via digital platforms are particularly welcome.

Details: To be eligible to apply for the award you must:  • Be a London (UK) or Lagos (Nigeria) based artist* or curator of African descent • Have at least 5yrs professional experience • Not be enrolled in full-time education, at any level, at the time of application or over the project period • Be prepared and able to collaborate with other creatives in the planning of the residence and during the residency
