A conversation between painter Michael Taylor RP and photographer Alistair Morrison about their collaborative project for which Michael painted Alistair as Alistair photographed Michael. Join us to listen to their discussion about their careers in portraiture and comparing the different approaches and disciplines involved in achieving their aims. Followed by a Q&A.

Both Michael Taylor and Alistair Morrison have portraits they have created hanging in the National Portrait Gallery. Painter and member of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, Michael has four works in the National Portrait Gallery, London: musician Julian Bream, composer Sir John Tavener, crime writer P D James and a self portrait. Portrait Photographer Alistair Morrison has many photographs in the National Portrait Gallery collection including: actors Oliver Reed and Helen Mirren, and musicians George Harrison and Morrissey.
