Panel discussion centred on "Working with Limited Resources"
The artists showing in the exhibition where the panel discussion will take place have connected through the CWND Artist Residency 2017 opportunity and their specific engagement with their interests within artistic practices around that opportunity.
The CWND residency 2017 artists were based within a construction site, has organically evolved as a site wide responsive project, to Canary Wharf Estate, as implied by the show title RSVP. This is as broad as it is narrow.
Each artist has been given carte blanche to create works using their own unique language as a basis. Given the limited resources, the health and safety restrictions and the location the responses have created a diverse but compelling outcome with some fascinating interweaving, common threads.
As artists we all have limited time, resources. The panel discussion aims to provide an insight into how we are able to find ways to work with so many limitations.
