Playback Festival 2018

Playback Festival 2018 brings together the work of over 300 emerging artists in one interactive exhibition of short experimental films, alongside five days of screenings, live spoken word performances, discussions and practical workshops. All entirely free to attend.  

The Exhibition

The Playback Exhibition features films made by emerging artists – premiering 95 short films alongside 240 ground-breaking and award-winning works completed

over the last three years. Watch large-scale projections or select what you want to view from interactive displays inside the dynamic exhibition installation.

The Events

Throughout the Festival a programme of events ofers diferent perspectives on moving image making, from unique viewing experiences to workshops, discussions

and pitching opportunities opening doors for aspiring talent. Events are open to artists and viewers alike and are free but ticketed – booking is advised.
