Punk Rock & Roll Art Show is pleased to announce it will launch this year’s art show on Friday 8th November 2019 with live performances from Chelsea with support from Deptford finest, The Phobics and Bermondsey’s Spizz Energi and other special guests. For the first time, Youth from Killing Joke and Gavin Jay of Jim Jones and the Righteous Mind will be joining the roll call of artists exhibiting new works which can been seen from 8-11th November 2019. Now in its sixth year, the show which has built a reputation for hosting exclusive and new art by musicians from various punk, rock & roll bands, as well as a rambunctious opening party. The free opening night party is a must for both aficionados of the genre and art collectors. The art show offers the opportunity to meet true punk heroes and view artwork by legends of the 1977 punk scene onwards. Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the release of their self-titled debut album and just back from a sold out European tour, Chelsea will grace the stage. Fronted by charismatic singer Gene October, their rabble-rousing first single 'Right To Work', features Punk Rock & Roll Art Show co-curator Martin Stacy on guitar. The Phobics will showcase killer tunes from their new album ‘Burnt Rubber’, and Spizz Energi will lead the opening charge with DJ Jeff Munday keeping the crowd rocking with classic vinyl 45’s, the annual art raffle and much more. The Punk Rock & Roll Art Show is a free exhibition showcasing original affordable artwork and an evening launch party which takes place on Friday 8th November 6.30pm- 1am. The art show then runs daily from Saturday- Monday 9th-11 November noon-7pm at the Underdog Art Gallery, London SE1.
