The Sunlight Project is a unique exhibition celebrating survivors of sexual assault. Envisaged as an empowering rather than a victimising space, it will display work by eight contributing artists - of whom five are survivors themselves. From painting and poetry to music and film, The Sunlight Project aims to inspire, educate and strengthen.
So far, it has been journalists and celebrities who have shaped the narrative surrounding sexual assault. The Sunlight Project will give survivors the chance to speak their own truth, to tell the story of assault, and display art that has helped recovery.
We hope The Sunlight Project will 'comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable’.
