Thursday Late with Mouth That Roars: #think

Mouth That Roars and Autograph presents #think, a display of new photography and films made by young people.

The works shared were produced over a few months of creative media workshops, with participants working alongside established photographers and filmmakers to explore complex issues of identity and human rights.

Although media is form with which these young people feel familiar, in the age of ‘fake news’ many felt it misrepresents them and reenforces prejudice, stigma and stereotype. By making their own film and photography work, the creators have challenged these representations by telling stories and creating images that depict how they want to be seen in the world.

The works on display include portraits, Polaroids and collages, made in collaboration with artist Aida Silvestri and Mouth That Roars.
